[ Misha was likewise fretting around and trying to get ready. She doesn't have any clothes that are overly nice, but she's been around just long enough to pick up some odds and ends that smush together to make something dressy-casual. It isn't anything special, but she isn't just slobbing it up either. That works, right?

When she sees him and sees what he's brought, she immediately has to cover her mouth with a hand to stop the small squeak and laugh because that is amazing. He brought a tiny little glowfish with him. After a moment she finally pulls her hand away enough to speak. ]

Hi, Allen. I see you brought a friend?

[He meanwhile turns a little bit pink in the cheeks at her reaction. Was that a good squeak? Was that a bad laugh? It seems pretty good?! He hopes it is at least]

Ah...yeah. I couldn't find any flowers, but my ship has a lot of these fish so-

[Was this a stupid idea? He feels a bit stupid. But he'll hold it out for her]

Um- It's gold! Like your ship?

[ Her mouth falls open and she turns a bit red before she finally takes the fish and grins. ]

It's for me? I... thank you. Fish instead of flowers definitely leaves an impression.

[ It's a good thing, definitely, but she also was not expecting a fish. Who expects a fish?? ]

I, uh... I didn't get you anything, though.

Oh, um- hopefully it's a good impression? [He looks a bit sheepish] Sorry...I'm rather rusty at this.

[Nobody expects the fish!! And he shakes his head at that]

That's alright! You didn't have to get me anything. [Uh what's a good way to say it without getting into gentleman stuff- oh!] Your company is more than enough.

If it was a bad impression, I'd be kicking you off my ship.

[ Well, maybe. Probably not anything that extreme to start off with... still, talking big is better than being nervous and meek. She laughs at his comment, a quick chuckle. ]

Oh boy. Looks like I've got a charmer on my hands.

Ah- good! I mean, I'd rather not be kick off the ship.

[He'd at least like to make it to dinner otherwise that's gonna be a depressing report to Ino]

[ She lifts the fish partway before tilting her head. ]

I'm gonna put this guy somewhere safe, and then we can go. That okay?

[He gives a little nod]

That's okay with me!

[ She'll give a quick grin before ducking away and skittering off. Oh man, he brought her a fish. It's cute and she's not quite sure what to do with it, but she can figure it out later. For now she'll drop it off with one of her crewmates to make sure it doesn't die, then heads back quickly without hopefully seeming too eager. ]

Okay! We're good. Ready?

[He meanwhile stood awkwardly where he was, wringing his hands nervously. At least...it seems to be going well so far??? Man today's been a strange day]

Ah- yes! I'm ready if you are!

Ready as I'll ever be.

[ She motions toward the shuttle and opens it up so they can both head inside. Tries not to be nervous about the whole thing. Without really thinking about it, she's heading for the pilot's seat. She's a pilot, it's her ship, of course she's driving. Duh. ]

You'll have to show me where we're going, though.

I can do that!

[He follows along, and moves to sit in the passenger seat without complaint. He knows how to fly, but this is a Golden shuttle- not his to fly. Like a good cautious person, he buckles up]

It's right on the beach of one of the Spiral Island? [Yes i just made up a name deal with it] Apparently they have great views of the night sky, so they like to be open late.

Hey, that totally works for me. Even if we get space all the time out here, it's... different to see it from a planet.

[ Like being away from it, returning to making space untouchable makes it more real. Living in a tiny ship constantly traversing the stars takes some of that magic away to her. ]

And at least we—probably won't stand out. Too badly. There's bound to be couples and everyone there so less pressure, right?

Mm! It is! It's not like you can really make out constellations when you're flying past them.

[Well you could but you have to be real fast about it. Plus yeah. Allen's missed being on the ground.]

And r-right! And don't worry, there's no pressure! We're just...supposed to relax and have fun, right?

[ Misha nods and they're out of the Golden moments later. She concentrates on flying for only a few moments before they're generally in a safe zone and she can speak again. ]

Well, I don't know if Ino told you this, but, uh... this is actually my first date. Ever. So. [ She pauses, bites her lip, smiles nervously despite herself. ] So. I don't know where I was going with that, actually.

Wait, you've never been on a date before?

[He tilts his head, a little surprise]

Ah- that's a little surprising. Is your life busy...? [YOU"RE SO CUTE WHY HAVEN'T YOU GONE OUT??]

[ Her face turns a bit red, and she would duck her head if she wasn't so busy flying a space shuttle right now. She dips it away just a bit in embarrassment. ]

Really, really busy. That, and I mean— [ She steals a glance to him, shrugs slightly. ] Lots of people expect something different from what they'd actually get. They want the chick on stage and TV and stuff.

On stage and TV-

Are you an actress?

What? Oh God, no! No, though that might be... better. For varying definitions of better...

[ She pauses, then really does laugh. ]

No, I'm... a superhero. Actually. That sounds so cheesy, but powers are really rare where I'm from so it's like... if I have powers and can stop the bad guys who have powers, I'd be a shit human being if I didn't, right? Um.

[ That's rambling. Rambling a lot and more than she usually does, really. Or, well, more personal than usual. ]

Sorry, I'm not really used to talking about it as I probably should be. And it's kind of—weird, right? Weird.

[A superhero.....great!]

[Okay, so he's not the biggest fan of superheroes after Paradisa, but hey, it's not like all superheroes were bad, right? And it's just one date, right? No big deal, he can deal]

[So when he sees that she' kind of freaking out right now, he'll give a little laugh and shake his head]

No, it's not that weird. At least not for me. My last relationship was much stranger.

[ She'll acquiesce to that. In a place like this it might not be so strange, but talking about it to people who don't already know... that's definitely weird. She does seem to lose some of that nervous energy she'd been building up in herself, at least. ]

Well, that's good! I'm glad. Dare I ask after the ex?

Ah...let's just say he was famous enough that saying I dated him might make people think I'm insane.

[Since seriously, it sounds like crazy. But he smiles, finally feeling a little better]

But that doesn't really matter right now. I'd rather focus on making sure you have a wonderful first date.

Ha! I'll leave you to your secrets, then. I get it.

[ Yeah, she's not going to push on that fact. He's been pretty great so far and making him uncomfortable for her curiosity is seriously not on her list right now. ]

...If it makes you feel better, I'm actually...new to dates like this myself. I mean, I've been on dates, but...only with people I'd known a long time before I went on one with them?

This type of dating, though...well, I'm still figuring it out too.

That does, actually. It seems pretty easy so far... I mean, without all the baggage of already knowing somebody.

Then again, we haven't actually gotten to the place yet, so... maybe I'm just talking out of my ass.
